This eBook is a culmination of my 10+ years of formal education, clinical experience, continuing education, and my own experience with low back pain. After herniating a disc in early 2016, I found myself on a journey to recovery while avoiding drastic medical measures like narcotic pain medication, injections, and surgery. This book was created to help others on their road to recovery. The human body is amazingly complex, and low back pain involves much more than just the back itself. Included in this eBook are chapters warning signs of sinister pathology, explanations of different diagnoses and treatment models, the process of pain perception, activity modifications for commonly painful exercises, lifestyle behaviors impacting recovery, and rehab exercises and programming to address strength and flexibility.
